Nathan and Adrienne Engagement Photo Shoot

Despite the cold and Nathan feeling under the weather, he and Adrienne had a great photo session at Carillon Park. We were able to capture some beautiful pictures of this wonderful couple. The carousel provided a unique setting and gave them the opportunity to express romance at play. The old School House warmed by pot belly stoves reminded Adrienne, a teacher, of how different classrooms are today. As we moved from building to building the cold wind blew reminding us it was mid-winter. Stepping into the next building was a good opportunity to warm up and take advantage of the sun light that darted in and out between the clouds. Congratulations to Nathan and Adrienne on their engagement and we are really looking forward to photographing their upcoming wedding at the end of June.

These are gorgeous!

Alex and Lindsay's engagement photo shoot

Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day for Alex and Lindsay's engagement session at The Dayton Art Institute. The sun was shining and there was just a light dusting of snow on the ground. The original plan was to get some shots inside the museum as well as on the grounds, however we found the lobby full of people and a long line to get in. Turns out the was a special showing of Norman Rockwell's works.

We found ample locations out side for a wide variety of shots and backgrounds. Alex and Lindsay were a lot of fun to work with and we look forward to capturing the wedding this summer.

NCR Country Club Bridal Show

On Thursday December 29th At Studio 206 was privileged to be the only photo vender featured at the NCR Country Club Bridal Show. The banquet room was decked out with several color schemes complete with table linens, chair covers and sashes provided by Prime Time Party Rental, Inc. Spectacular floral arrangements were provided by Sherwood Florists and The Flower Man, making each table more beautiful than the next.  Up-lighting and lighting accents were provided by Entertainment Unlimited Events and the Entertainment was Fresh Air Entertainment.

The photo booth by Bright Light, offered the opportunity to dress up in fun funny garb and supplied tons of fun for all. The food was both casual and elegant.
Hors d'oeuvres were served by pleasant waiters and the main course was served on a gourmet buffet. Each bite was better than the one before. Butterfly Productions was the featured videographer with amazing videos to watch.

It was a great opportunity for brides and grooms to see all that NCR County Club offers. If you haven’t had the chance to look them over, call or write Theresa Beachler at NCR Country Club, you will find her great to work with.

See you all at the Dayton Bridal Show January 7th and 8th.

Ryan and Jessica Wedding 11-5-11

Ryan and Jessica’s wedding was just perfect. Kathy from Your Dream Day made sure their wedding came off with out a hitch. They are such a sweet and loving couple. We started the day off with the bride and all 10 of her bridesmaids at her mothers house. Jessica looked stunning in her bridal gown and hair and makeup. Ryan and his 10 groomsmen were outstanding in their black attire and a lot of fun to photograph.

First Lutheran Church was where the very intimate and gorgeous ceremony was held. After the ceremony the bride and groom walked out of the church while their guest blew bubbles and we were able to capture some wonderful shots. Ryan and Jessica, along with their bridal party took a fun little ride in the party bus which took them to Riverscape for additional pictures. The lighting was perfect and we had plenty of room to do some unique poses with everyone.

The reception took place at the Antioch Shrine Temple where the mood was set with lighting and music. Their DJ, All sounds Unlimited did a great job keeping their guest entertained. Butterfly Productions was there to capture all the moments of the day through video. The cake was displayed very nicely. Almost too nice to cut into.

Ryan and Jessica we wish you many years together and may your photographs be something that you forever cherish from this day on. Best Wishes.

Richie and Daina Wedding

Daina and Richies’s wedding was extra special for me. Daina and I have been best friends for 8 years and we had the pleasure of photographing their amazing wedding day.

We were able to capture some beautiful shots of Daina while she was in the room getting ready before the ceremony. We also were able to capture some fun shots with Richie and his groomsmen.

Right before the ceremony mother nature decided to start sprinkling a little bit, but as soon as everyone walked out to start the ceremony the sun came out and the sprinkles stopped and ended up being so beautiful.

Richie and Daina chose some wonderful vendors to work with. Sherwood Florist did her beautiful bouquets and flower arrangements and turned out exactly as expected. The catering which was absolutely fabulous was done by Elite Catering. And let’s not forget the very fun and popular photo booth that many people used over and over. Thanks “Say Cheese.” Gary, from Absolute DJ, did an excellent job of keeping things flowing at the reception and keeping their guest moving and dancing.

We wish you the best Richie and Daina and many years of happiness.

Jason and Kristin Wedding 10-14-11

Despite a few rain drops and clouds, Jason and Kristin had many opportunities for pictures. We started pictures at Carillon Historical Park which is where the reception was later held at. We were able to capture some fun moments in the old school house and many other locations. Kristin looked stunning in her beautiful gown and hair piece. The couple and the bridal party took a little ride on the amazing carousel located at Carillon Park. We captured some fun moments while they were riding around and around.

The ceremony took place at Lutheran Church of Our Savior. Beautiful building and some great moments while the couple were walking out from the church and into their surprise old fashioned car.

Once to the reception Belly Fire had prepared a wonderful meal for all the guest. One of my favorite parts of the meal was the potato bar. Yes, you heard correctly, potato bar lots and lots of toppings and choices.

Jason and Kristin, thank you for choosing At Studio 206. We wish you the best and many years together.
