My Favorite Picture for 2010
This past year has been one of the best years of my life. Not only did I get to photograph some amazing weddings but I also got married to the love of my life, Josh. This was my second year photographing weddings with Jasmine and her dad, Steve. They are so much fun to work with and very professional. I am so excited as we enter our third year of working together and helping the business grow. Jasmine has become one of my best friends and was even a bridesmaid on my wedding day.
At a young age, I fell in love with cameras and developing photographs and over the years that love has only grown. I attended Wright State University to continue pursuing this love and graduated with a BFA in Art Education with a concentration in Photography. In college I most often photographed nature, often using exotic cameras and development processes to create images with my unique stamp. Soon after graduating I became more interested in capturing moments between people, whether it was a mother with her small children playing at the park or a bride and groom sneaking a kiss on their wedding day, and I have focused on this style of photography ever since.
I also knew that Dayton was where I wanted to be a photographer. I have lived in Dayton most of my life and I want to help it continue grow into an amazing city. There are so many amazing locations to photograph or hold your wedding here in Dayton. A few of my personal favorites are Cox Arboretum, Yellow Springs, and of course Downtown Dayton.
